Jacked Pipeline Installation for Roads, Rail and River Crossings
Pipe jacking is a trenchless construction technique used to install pipelines, culverts and utility ducts underground with minimal surface disruption. Specially designed pipes are pushed through the ground using powerful hydraulic jacks from a launch shaft. Excavation takes place simultaneously within a protective shield or microtunnelling machine at the face.
