Fast, Low-Disruption Water Pipe Replacement

Pipe bursting is a trenchless method for replacing or upsizing deteriorated pipelines. Using controlled bursting techniques, we fracture the existing pipe while installing a new pipe of equal or larger diameter in its place. 

This approach significantly reduces surface disruption, traffic disturbance, and programme duration. Suitable for a wide range of ground conditions and pipe materials, it is an effective solution for infrastructure renewal in urban and constrained environments. 

Maxi-Burstâ„¢

Maxi-Burstâ„¢ is ideal where upsizing is not required or only a small increase in diameter is needed, delivering rapid installation with reduced excavation, reinstatement, and programme time.

  • Replace pipes from 100 mm to 750 mm diameter
  • Install up to 150 metres in a single run
  • New pipes rated up to 16 bar pressure
  • Multiple wall thickness options: SDR 11, SDR 17.6 and SDR 26

Mini-Burstâ„¢

Mini-Burst is compact, quiet and portable, making it ideal for residential areas, urban streets, and confined spaces where traditional excavation is impractical.

  • Operates from existing manholes – no open trench required
  • Bursts through clay, pitch fibre, concrete, asbestos cement and more
  • Pipe diameters of 75mm, 100mm and 150mm
  • Installation lengths up to 25 metres
  • New MDPE or HDPE pipe supplied in short sections or continuous welds
  • Extended design life compared with short-term patch repairs

Lok-it Segmental Pipe

Engineered for Mini-Burst hydraulic pipe bursting, Lok-it is a proprietary jointed pipe system designed to deliver strength, flexibility and ease of installation in confined access conditions.
